Our adoption fundraiser garage sale

We had a fundraiser garage sale yesterday. Since March I have told family, friends, neighbors, people in our church and even clients of ours that we would have a fundraiser garage sale for our adoption and if anyone had things to donate they could give them to us instead of throwing it away or donating it to someone else. We got a big response. I told them we wouldn't have the sale until like late April or early May so we gave them lots of time to get things to us. So yesterday was our sale. We had a 8 year old neighbor girl who also goes to our church offer to sell Snowcone for us. She was so sweet to do that for us, she alone helped raise $60. And then another women in my church made pans of homemade cinnamon rolls and they sold within the 1st hour. We had lots of people come shop and people bought a lot. We had the sale hours longer then planned and still didn't sell it all. So we will have the sale one more time next weekend. And we also had people telling us they found more for us to donate. So we will have some new stuff too. So the grand total.......so far we have raised $1500 from the garage sale. And we aren't done. I feel so blessed to have such great people in my life who have helped us so much.
