Ward Camp out

We attended our ward camp out last week. We went up a day sooner then the date they had planned but by that evening about 7 other families showed up early too. The next day we watched all the families show up from that morning to that night. This year about 40 families came. This is our 3rd year going to these camp outs and we really enjoy them. Our kids have a BLAST playing with all the kids and we have fun hanging out with everyone, playing games, talking and getting to know each other even more. I wish the camp out could be longer!

The favorite thing this year was this rip cord that camp host had made. He came up to us the 1st day we camped and said we were welcomed to use it. The kids loved it and it was so fun to watch them play with it.

Hayden was at 1st nervous to ride the Rip Cord

The kids loved playing chicken with it

Emmie's turn. I was shocked she wanted to try it, she was all smiles on the ride.

Thanks Jessica for sending these to me!

Jessica Norton is in my ward, my neighbor, in the RS presidency with me and a great friend. At the camp out our kids were playing together. At one point they were playing in the hammock someone brought. It was funny when Hayden fell through a hole in the hammock but he didn't think it was so funny.
