Morris Family Reunion

The 1st week of June we went to the Morris Family Reunion. We attend that every year in June and we always look forward to going and having so much fun with our family. We camp at Whiteriver about 8 miles past Pinetop. This year there were over 250 Morris family members who came. We have so many family tradition we all love....its so fun when we all get together. My favorite is watching the Volleyball games and sitting around the camp fire. We had a few exciting things happen while camping. Hayden got stung by a bee. Hayden had a bee go by his ear and he covered his ear freaking out so the bee couldn't get out so it stung him. He screamed and freaked out after he got stung! But he felt better a few hours later. Also while driving to the Fish hatchery I saw something walking across the road. I thought it was a big dog and I asked Aaron "Is that a bear???" We drove up to his faster and it was. It ran off the road to a near by tree and stood up to the tree like it was going to climb it. It stood there a few minutes then walked away. It was so cool to see a real bear out in the forest.

Aunt Cinda made the kids in our family these camping cans. She had them canned so they kids had to open them with can openers. They loved them. It had a flashlight, candy, stuff to make smores and little toys in them.
