Hayden and the Preamble to the United States Constitution

Hayden has been learning the Preamble to the United States Constitution in Kindergarten. One day he started saying it and Aaron was in awe. I never learned it and Aaron said he didn't learn it until he was a lot older. I think its so cool how much he has learned this year in Kindergarten. His school is so awesome! I had to record him saying it. I think in Kindergarten all I learned was my ABC's.

Spring Round-Up

Hayden's school just had their Spring Round-Up carnival and he was so excited to go. My sister and I took our kids together. There was so much to do we didn't get to everything. The kids had a blast and they also loved seeing all their friends and ward members.

One of the teachers and the principal had to kiss a pig, it was part of a fundraiser they did. Above is a picture of them bringing the pig out. Below they first brought out this cute baby pig then brought out the big pig. They kids were loving it! The man in the white shirt is Hayden's principal and he had to kiss a pig The kids won some cupcakes from the cake walk and Paxton was in heaven!
I was impressed (like always) about Hayden's school and all they do!

SK8 ASYLUM Spring Break Camp

The week of Spring Break we signed Hayden up at SK8 ASYLUM's Spring Break Camp. He went Monday thru Friday that week and went from 9am to 3pm. He loved going each day, he had a blast. I was so glad we signed him up. I went to SK8 ASYLUM's Facebook page and saw they posted pictures of that week so I copied a few since I wasn't around to be taking pictures of my own.

The last day (Friday) they had a pizza party and got shirts, goodie bags and prizes.

New Blog - Adoption

Several months ago I started a blog called Confessions of an adoptive mom. I liked having a place to put down my thoughts and things I have to deal with sometimes the average mom doesn't really have to deal with. I am like any other mom but being an adoptive mom we have to deal with a little extra sometimes, but I love it! And since I often get calls or emails from people I know asking adoption questions because they are interested in adopting themselves I thought I would add more to the blog and help inform people what I know to help those interested in adoption any way I can.

Right now the blog is private, for some reason I feel weird just opening it all up. But I would love for people to be able to read it. So please if you are interested at all email me your email address and I will invite you. Email me at tnaray00@aol.com

New Family Toy

Since my parents bought a Polaris years ago we have been really wanting to buy one for our family. The one we wanted was 2 row seating like my parents but with all the special add ons we wanted it ended up being the price of a cheap car. We just couldn't see ourselves spending that much. So for years we have talked about getting one someday. Well, recently my aunt called me and said she wanted to sell hers and asked if we were interested. Hers is a little different then my parents but we really like the speed on hers. After thinking about it for several days we decided to buy it and I am pretty excited. The price was right! It doesn't have all the things we have always wanted but I know we will still have a blast owning it and driving it around. It only has one row of seats so we will order a second row to add to the bed. We also have to add a horn and side mirrors to make it street legal. My aunt will drive it down here from Pinedale during Spring Break but it may be until tax season is over until we can get it street legal and get the extra row of seating in. I know we will really enjoy having this, we always have so much fun when we get to drive around in my parents.
