Never a dull moment with Paxton

There is never a dull moment with Paxton, he is always doing something funny. He is so adventurous. He tries things Hayden and Emmie never did. The other day we were all in the backyard and Hayden and Emmie were swimming. He didn't go in the pool area at all and was just walking around the backyard playing with toys. All of a sudden he became interested in the dog house. I saw him sit down to look inside and then all of a sudden he crawled it. We couldn't help but laugh. He would crawl in, sit down for a bit and then crawl out. He did this about 10 times. And in the meantime the dogs were so confused and sometimes would either jump in with him or jump out because he was coming back. Libby always has to sneak in a kiss And another kiss.... April Swim

Since the weather got a little warmer Hayden has been asking me over and over to swim. He doesn't understand the weather is warmer but the water takes a lot longer to get warmer. It is usually the end of May before I will get in the water. I decided to let Hayden give it a try and he didn't mind the cold pool at all. Once Emmie saw him having so much fun she even went in. She just played on the steps but she still had fun. Hayden talking to a girl in our ward Paxton played on the other side of the fence. He loved watching the kids swim but sometimes he would yell at them like he wanted their attention.

Oh No....I have a climber!

Hayden and Emmie were playing with these toys that are real small so I told them to play with them at the table so Paxton couldn't get them. A few minutes later Hayden and Emmie were laughing and said "Mom, did you put Paxton here?" I looked over and saw that Paxton grabbed the kids desk chair and scooted it over to the table and climbed up to see what the kids were doing. I can't believe he thought to do that. It was so funny but scary. Now I got to make sure he doesn't climb on everything now.

Emmie's 4!

Emmie turned 4 on March 22nd but we had her party on April 2nd. Emmie wanted a bouncy so we had to have it at my parent's house since our backyard doesn't have room with our pool and swing set back there. This was Emmie's 1st party where she invited her own friends from church. Past parties were mainly family and family friends. She was so excited to have some of her own friends come. This is Emmie's party invitation

I really liked this bouncer because it was pretty big and open inside compared to some I have ordered in the past. When the kids weren't bouncing and eating all the snack I bought they loved playing on my parents 2 teeter tooters Paxton's cousin Brooke helped him jump, he was loving it! I told all the kids to get in the bouncy for a group picture Emmie opening her gifts Emmie LOVES make-up so we got her a make-up case and some real make-up to play with. We told her it will have to stay in our room and she can only play with it when she asks. If I let her have it in her room I know she would make a mess and have it all gone in a day. Emmie's main request for her birthday party.....she wanted to have girl cupcakes and boy cupcakes

We made separate goodie bags for the girls and boys. The boys got a bag of candy with a squirt gun and punching balloon. The girls had a "Sweet" theme. It had some candy, cupcake shaped soap, a cupcake shaped bath fizzy, and candy flavored Lip Smackers. The girls loved it. Here is the card we added to the bags. The goodie bags for the girls
