Christmas Eve

This year Christmas Eve was at our house. We always have dinner and then do some traditional activities.

Uncle Bill just got to our house from being at his home in Pinedale so he brought the kids an ice chest full of real snow. They were in heaven!

Me and my siblings danced for our family to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Mambo. We tried to be as dorky as possible and I think it worked.

All the kids waiting for Santa. Santa swings by for a quick visit and brings each kids a small gift. The adults do a gag gift exchange at the end of the night so we started this a few years back so the kids got something small. Half the kids know its Aaron but they don't care. They still get super excited when he comes through that door. And some kids who are even older still think its really Santa.

I love the sippy cup leash!

I saw on a site I love to look at called "Make it and Love it" these things she made called sippy cup leashes and then she showed how to make them. I knew this would make my life so much easier right now. Paxton is constantly just dropping his cup when he is done with it. This is super annoying when he does this at a restaurant, in his carseat, while in his stroller somewhere and while he eats in his highchair. When I saw this on her site Paxton's birthday was coming up so I sent it to my sister through email and said "Paxton wants these for his birthday." I knew she wouldn't mind making them plus it was a cheap gift she could give Paxton so I knew she would be happy to do them. Well, just like I thought. I LOVE THEM!!! It really makes things so much easier and Paxton thinks they are a toy so he is happy too.

I took these with my cell phone so they are a little blurry. I was texting them to Sara to show her him using them.

Our 2010 Christmas Card

This year was full of fun so I thought I would do our Christmas card a little different this year. I highlighted our year through the song "The 12 days of Christmas" and just did a collage of us instead of family pictures just taken. We had a great 2010 and I feel so blessed!
