The rest of our Summer (July in a Nutshell)

July went by fast. School started early this year (July 30th) so here is how we enjoyed the rest of our summer after spending the 4th at the cabin.

Hayden attended basketball camp. His school put on a week long camp that was held at the High School. He loved it. Besides skateboarding Basketball is his favorite sport.

We bought a new truck.  Its a Dodge Ram diesel.  Paxton is in LOVE with it!

I had Carpal Tunnel surgery and I am so glad I did. It took weeks to do anything with my hand but its feeling so much better!

A week later I got the stitches out

And since I had my surgery my aunt took my kids to her house for the weekend (she lives behind my parents cabin.)  The kids had a blast and Aaron and I really enjoyed our quite time alone.  We relaxed around the house but went out at night.  We went to dinner at Ruth's Chris one night, then a movie. And another night got a couples massage.  It was a great way to end the summer before all the back to school chaos began.

4th of July at the cabin

 Snuggling baby Preston

Sara, Wendy and I made the kids shirts this year.

The shirts we made for our girls

We tried to get a group shot of the grand kids.  A few wouldn't do it

My cousin Robbie lives in Pinetop and runs a State Farm insurance company there.  He asked me if I wanted to be in the parade with my kids this year.  I asked my kids what they would rather do be in it or watch it. And they decided to be in it.  It was lots of fun. They loved throwing candy to the crowds.

As we approached all my family watching the parade they attacked us with water balloons. It was a fun surprise and it felt great.

After the parade we went to my cousin Robbie's house for a BBQ

In Taylor to watch fireworks

We had the best seats right in front of the fireworks.  I just wish it didn't sprinkle on us the whole time, it got cold.
