Hayden turns 9!

For Hayden's 9th Birthday he wanted to have a Zombie Party. He told me this months before his birthday which was nice because during Halloween I looked for a lot of his birthday party stuff and even got some stuff after Halloween on clearance.   It really was a fun theme to decorate for and the boys loved it.

Hayden's birthday gift from us.  We used it for a bit in the backyard.  We set up some cans to shoot. Hayden was the only kid who hit them.  He's a good shot!

Hayden's birthday was a few days after his party.  So that night after skateboard lessons we let him pick where ever he wanted to eat for dinner. He chose Sweet Tomatoes.

Our Funny Cub Scout

A few months ago Hayden was working in his scout book to work on his Wolf. He had to answer some questions. Below is what he did, we thought it was funny.

Emmie in Gymnastics

Emmie started taking gymnastic, she is doing tumbling. She absolutely loves it. Jumping, bouncing and flipping is perfect for Emmie. I have never seen her so happy about something before. Right now she takes classes once a week but we are thinking of doing it twice a week so she learns faster. She is in level 1 but after 5 weeks of class she is a few tricks away from being level 2. She is doing great! The gym is big on Cheer classes and doing a lot of competitions, Emmie see's them practicing and wants to do that too. But I told her once she is good at tumbling she can try cheer.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving we spent it at my parents house with family. I forgot to take pictures of everyone but stopped and asked my mom to take a few pictures of us. The food was awesome and we had a good time. Thanksgiving day seemed to go by fast this year because of Black Friday shopping. A lot of stores started Black Friday early Thanksgiving night we we had to leave my parents by 4:00pm so Aaron could take us home and he could go shopping. He loves Black Friday even though it stresses me out. But I am glad he likes it, he does all the work and we get some pretty great deals.

Emmie gets Honor Roll....again!

My kids school has 6 grading periods. So far Emmie is 2 for 2 for getting Honor Roll. We are so excited and proud of her. When we 1st adopted her she was pretty behind, I would have never pictured her getting Honor Roll someday and doing so good in school. My kids school is a little harder then the average school around here and few years ago I wondered if she could even handle this school. She has really proved she can and even do awesome!  If she gets Honor Roll each grading period she gets a big prize at the end of the school year.

Halloween

This year the kids all dressed up as pirates.  Hayden wanted to be a ghost pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean. He couldn't be a cute pirate. :)  Paxton wore the costume Hayden wore at this age. It was so cute on him. 

1st thing was Paxton's preschool party. I went with him and volunteered at the party so I had the chance to get some pictures. 

Then we had our Ward Trunker Treat the night before Halloween.  My family came too so their kids could do a trunker treat.

Halloween Night we went to my parents house. My kids love to trick or treat with their cousins.
