Pretty much every year we take a family trip to California. We took the kids out of school in October and went for a week to San Clemente. We stayed in a hotel by the beach. It was a real beachy town and pretty. We always take the kids to Disneyland but we thought we would try somewhere new. We chose Universal Studios. It wasn't close to our hotel, we drove over an hour to get there. Our tickets were 2 day passes so we ended up going twice. We enjoyed it and the kids loved all the different rides, shows and getting to see different characters. Here are pictures to highlight our 1st day there.
Since Halloween was close they had The Walking Dead stuff around, we loved it!

Aaron took Hayden and Emmie on the Jurassic Park ride a few times so Paxton and I hung out at the dinosaur playground.
At the end of the day we went to the City Walk right outside of Universal and ate at Bubba Gumps for dinner and then shopped a little. Fun day!
